Push technology makes the automated and personalized web information delivery possible. On the other hand, information pushing demand large amount of network bandwidth. To reach the goal of effective pushing, this research implements an AB-PAT system, a push system designed using mobile agent. An agent server and four different types of agents are designed and implemented based on the aglet framework. Within AB-PAT, not only all the software are mobile agents, the information channels are also designed as agents. The probe agents are designed to collect the states of network and hosts. With the probe agents, the network bandwidth could be utilized efficiently. We also like to propose a mechanism to classify the channel contents and assign priority to the contents of each push channel, then schedule the push operation.
